Lorena Resident
Dies In Killeen;
Funeral Today

 

     LORENA, June 6--D. L. Bowers, 86, a resident of Lorena for the past 50 years, died in Killeen at 5:20 p.m. Sunday.

     Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Lorena Methodist church, Rev. C. A. Mangham and Rev. James M. Cooper will officiate. Burial will be in a Waco cemetery under the direction of a Waco funeral home.

     Mr. Bowers was born in Mississippi and came to Falls county as a child.

     Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Frances Jones Bowers of Lorena; a foster daughter, Mrs. A. H. Curtis of Killeen; and one sister, Mrs. Ben Taylor of Marlin.
